About Andrea Mazza

• Studied at the Torino Culinary School before graduating from the Alain Ducasse Cooking School
• Began his work in the world of food & drink at a traditional Italian pizzeria and trattoria before moving to France to work with Alain Ducasse in the Plaza Athenee in Paris
• Worked with the famed Food Philosopher Ferran Adria at his Michelin 3-star restaurant, El Bulli
• Worked in S.Tommaso 10 Lavazza (the Turin-based restaurant owned by the Lavazza family, where the company’s story began in 1895)
• Joined Lavazza in its Training Centre in 2010, developing food recipes to be used at coffee shops and restaurants that align with Lavazza’s coffee offering
• Gained Specialty Coffee Association Certification and began experimenting with coffee – as an ingredient - as part of Lavazza’s Top Gastronomy programme
