Sue Williams, Head of People, Brakspear will reveal how brewer and pub operator Brakspear enjoyed a 44% increase in coffee sales and improved its coffee quality after only nine months after investing in its hot drinks offer across its managed pubs, all delivered with a particular focus on staff training, designed to improve the teams coffee making skills and knowledge, resulting in a ‘Barista of the Year’ competition.
